This quaint old kauri post office has a total of 6 bedrooms, no bathrooms are shared.
Four doubles and two singles.
The Garden studio is self contained and either the double room with the french doors into the rear garden may be rented or the watercolour room may be included at an extra $50 pp. (This includes a superking and a single bed). Each bedroom has access to their own bathroom. There is a Kitchenette, ( inc fridge, microwave, two ring burner and bench top oven) a reading / lounge and T.V. A homemade continental breakfast is included, homemade bread and jams.
The old postmaster's office circa 1903 (queen bed) has its own entrance at street level and bathroom and may be locked off from the rest of the building.
The other wing is ideal for a family, with a double bedroom(Kakariki room) and two single bedrooms adjacent with two bathrooms. Athough, of course, these may be booked independently.
Tea and coffee facilities,naturally.
There is a shared lounge for the street level rooms ( with other guests only) and a large outside deck. The rear of the building looks out over a sunny garden, and is a prime spot to chat with the piwakawakas flitting about, or even if lucky spot the very reticent riflemen birds.
Breakfast is a quality homemade spread of muesli, fruits from the garden, yoghurt and homemade bread and jams.
Come and enjoy the charm and the history of the old post office and the village of Paparoa.

Recommend The Old Post Office B & B? Yes definitely; an affordable kiwi experience, great hosts and lots to do in the area. We will be taking our World Cup visitors who have travelled extensively to stay at The Old Paparoa Post Office. Greer
What a fantastic weekend! 12 of us filled the B&B for a ladies weekend away to blow off steam and wind down after a hectic time at work and we were looked after superbly. The rooms and bathrooms are decorated beautifully and there was plenty of space for all of us. Deb and Kev were such warm and inviting hosts, who went out of their way to make our trip something really special. On Sunday sitting in the garden reading books and watching the fantails play in the trees was just the relaxation we were looking for. Ms Bishop
