Two minutes from the Okuru River this modern two-storied home overlooking the Tasman Sea is a great base for river, coastal and forest activities. Plenty of room for the whole family with all the comforts of home. Upstairs has two bedrooms (quuen + single over double bunk) and one bathroom comfortably accomodating 5 people. Downstairs is a seperate self contained flat with a queen bedroom plus a fold out couch to accomodate a further 3 people. Incredible ocean views from the deck with gorgeous sunsets and mountain vistas. Walk out the door to the rivers edge for a spot of fishing or whitebaiting. Or just relax and enjoy the views from the solace of this warm and comfortable base with the snow capped mountains on one side and the glistening ocean on the other you will never want to leave! Situated off the main road in the small township of Okuru only ten minutes from Haast and the DOC World Heritage Interpretaion Centre. Numerous DOC walking tracks in the area with Jacksons Bay only 30km away. Okuru is 2 hours south of Franz Josef, 2 hours north of Wanaka. Please note, linen and cleaning can be supplied at extra costs or BYO and clean afterwards. Wifi is available but on a satellite connection, unfortunately this is neither cheap nor unlimited so charges will be incurred if the limits are exceeded. Responsible pet owners are welcome to bring pets, please enquire.
