Whakata Country retreat is a large elegant country estate situated on ten acres of rolling countryside at Coatesville Auckland. Comprising of seven bedrooms it is an ideal house for extended family get togethers or groups of friends wanting a quiet peaceful getaway, couples retreat, wedding accommodation or executive conferences. It is a luxury facility with high quality fittings and furnishings, yet has a warm homely feel. As soon as you enter the house via the grand lobby you will appreciate the welcoming vibe created by the rich wooden floors and lush carpets. Lovely gourmet kitchen with indoor outdoor flow onto three outdoor rooms. Bi fold doors and windows bring the sunshine right into the living space, Throughout the year it is used as a retreat centre for non profit groups, but is available in some school holidays and during December and January. Please note, this is not a " party" house. Also, sadly it is not suitable for weddings. The managers live on site in an upstairs apartment and are available to assist, but otherwise unobstusive.
